First time here and Was busy but managed to get a table for 5 of us the staff are fabulous nothing too much trouble very polite and friendly place was lovely and clean even though busy the food was delicious everyone ate everything would highly recommend and definitely be back if there are 6 or more dining id recommend booking a table

Best place in ripon I recommend the full English (lounge breakfast)service was immaculate, the waiters were extremely nice . Definitely coming again thank you!

Always enjoyable, The manager and staff are always polite and attentive. A great place for meet ups with friends, plenty of space. Great interior. 2nd review 28/04/25 Local photographic club we used the Claro for our annual awards, 45 of us in all, what an amazing evening, well done the Claro staff for sorting us all out, you really are good, thanks for a great night.

Well what can I say, when they get it wrong, they make sure they get it right straight away! . We opted for the tapas, taking advantage of the free glass of wine, with 3 menu choices for 13.50! Bargain, and oh my days, for the quality it was a bargain. Once the correct dishes were delivered to the table the flavours and spices complimented the dishes as they should, all felt fresh! . We give credit where credits due, allow people and places to correct mistakes, and these guys did this with no hesitation, which we thank them so much for, we created no fuss, which was reflected by the staff too in a positive way! . Highly recommend the food, accommodate well for dietary requirements(We’re vegetarian and our daughter isn’t) so to make the burger plain with just the bun, delighted our little girl! . Don’t hesitate to visit this place for great atmosphere, ambience and top professional service from the staff!! .

Delightful venue adjacent to the market square. Refreshingly dog friendly, our dogs were made to feel very welcome (water bowls and blankets available by the door). Friendly and very helpful staff. Fabulous food served fresh and hot. Loads to things to choose from on the food and drinks menu. What is not to like? Great coffee too. Excellent.

The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful and service was excellent. We sat downstairs for lunch where there's an area for children to play with toys, games and books. We ordered via the app and the food came quickly despite how busy it was. The food itself was delicious and looked freshly prepared, not the usual reheated preprepared food you might get in some bars. The only thing I would say is some of the tapas dishes were perhaps a little overpriced for what they were. The kid's food portions were generous and very reasonably priced. My son liked being able to pick which sides he'd like with his main. We would definitely return for another visit as my kids were having so much fun playing that they didn't want to leave.

A perfect spot for brunch during one of our outings. My wife and I loved wandering the market square and people-watching, especially as her energy was limited between chemo treatments, and this place was exactly what we needed – relaxed, welcoming, and full of charm. I ordered the Shakshuka, which was absolutely delicious, and my wife had the Lounge Breakfast with a glass of fresh orange juice. Everything was cooked beautifully, tasted amazing, and really hit the spot. The vibe was great, with a lovely, friendly atmosphere that made the whole experience even better. The staff were so warm and attentive, which made us feel right at home, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service. We’d hoped to come back for one of their tapas Tuesdays, but sadly we didn’t get the chance, as this was one of our last outings before my wife lost her battle with cancer. Even so, I’m so grateful for the special memories we made here. Claro Lounge gave us a wonderful experience during a tough time, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We were visiting Ripon on Saturday and after wandering around the shops we decided to have some lunch and chose the Claro Lounge. We walked in and we're promptly seated and advised that there would be a 30 or so minute delay with food orders - not a problem as we were not in any rush. We ordered drinks and food from the bar and sat at a table by the window - we saw lots of dogs and owners welcomed into the Lounge, which we loved watching! After maybe 20 minutes our food arrived along with a lovely apology (not necessary!) And all I can say is Wow! We would have honestly waited longer! The food we ordered was amazing - fresh, tasty and plentiful! Thank you to the chef and waiting staff - you really delivered! Btw we ordered tapas and the Mediterranean Mezze which were all wonderful and our plates were left empty!
